Research interest
- Conducting whole animal research for the development or improvement of diagnostic assays, primarily immunology assay platforms (e.g., ELISA, cell-based assays, Luminex®, AlphaLISA).
- Screening of biomarkers of infection for diagnostic and vaccine development.
- Characterization of the immune response to emerging infectious diseases of swine.
- Isolation and characterization of emerging viruses.
- Development of in vitro tissue culture models to investigate pathogenesis and immune response to animal pathogens.
